Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took in the Banksy's "Barely Legal" exhibit in Los Angeles last night, and was it ever the media circus. What does the painted live elephant mean?
A 37-year old Indian elephant has been painted, from head to tail, in a floral pattern reminiscent of an old fashioned living room or a British pub.The animal is made to stand in a makeshift living room, complete with sofa, chandelier and decorated with wallpaper in the same pattern.
Banksy, as ever, was not on hand to discuss his creation, but it is understood that the elephant, blending into the background, is meant to represent the big issues in life, such as poverty, that some people choose to ignore.

So the Supreme Hypocrites obviously don't give a toss about the cruelty to the elephant, i.e. his being painted all over, without water to douse himself (elephants need to do this regularly)and forced to stand in a small enclosed area (this causes elephants arthritis and depression) while a bunch of primates invade his space by saring at him.

The poor Elephant!!! How cruel is that? I agree skinny, where the heck is PETA? They should have stopped that show from ever happening and should ridicule Brangelina in the press like they do everyone else!

I happen to know the people involved in this, and for your information that elephant is treated with the utmost care and love. It was painted with non toxic paint and only made to stand in the room for a few hours before being taken home and washed off. It had treats and it's owners were there the entire time within ten feet of it. I love the know it all who informed everyone of how the elephant will most definitely get arthritis if it stands still for a few hours. Do you really know that for a fact that every elephant in the world will get arthritis if it stands still for a few hours? Because I bet you anything that elephants in the wild will even stand around a bit each day. Can you really imagine an elephant that never stops moving??? Come on, just because you read that on the internet doesn't make it true. And also, do you know the size of the pen, or were you basing your b.s. remarks on the pictures you saw? Because I can tell you that animal had room. And considering the amount of torture and pain millions of other animals go through every day, I would think you all would get off your high horses (no pun intended) about an elephant that probably has a larger yearly spending allowance than most of us.
Lastly, I don't care one way or another about Brad and Angelina, but I do think you all are pathetic idiots who need to get a life if the best reason you can find to hate then is because they adopted children. Wow, what bastards. They should have just let them die rather than deal with the possibility that a few lonely morons on the internet might think they're holier than though and hipocrites for checking out a major art show. You all need to get lives!! Pathetic!

I totally agree. Where is PETA?! Brangelina supposidly care so much about collecting children, but they don't give a damn about animals. Poor elephant being gawked at by hundreds of people and being painted up like that. That is NOT okay to do that to an animal...reguardless of weather or not its expliotive slave master/owners were there with 'treats' or not. It's an elephant.
