The verdict is still out on whether or not Rachel Ray's, "The Rachael Ray Show," will be as wildly successful as that of Oprah's last mentee, one Dr. Phil McGraw, according to Hollywood Reporter TV critic, Ray Richmond. The way Richmond describes the first episode of Ray's show, Rachael is apparently quite adorable, but running around like a chicken with her head cut off--after it's had about 5 pots of coffee.
"Ray has an inherent likability and is certainly easy on the eyes, but she doesn't talk to us so much as screams and she might want to consider taking a more leisurely approach. As it is, it's all she can do to keep from using the adoring audience as her mosh pit."I gotta be honest. I think I'd take a cracked-out Rachael Ray over a monotonous Martha Stewart any day. In fact, I'm hoping there will be a cagematch sometime in the future. I hope the powers that be are listening...
