Rush Limbaugh's An Ass

Share

So, what else is new?

It appears the drug-addicted, overweight, serial monogamist thought it might be a good idea to accuse Michael J. Fox of overexaggerating the tremors caused by his Parkinson's disease for the purpose of capitalizing on sympathy during an ad for Missouri Democratic Senate candidate, Claire McCaskill, who is for embryonic stem cells research. Teh ShowBuzz reports:

"I think this is exploitative in a way that's unbecoming of either Claire McCaskill or Michael J. Fox," Limbaugh said on his syndicated show. On his Web site Tuesday, Limbaugh appeared to back away from his accusation. "All I'm saying is I've never seen him the way he appears in this commercial for Claire McCaskill," says Limbaugh. "So I will bigly, hugely admit that I was wrong, and I will apologize to Michael J. Fox, if I am wrong in characterizing his behavior on this commercial as an act, especially since people are telling me they have seen him this way on other interviews and in other television appearances."
And I can honestly feel sympathy for Rush, because I know--unlike most people--that he also suffers from a grave affliction against which he has no defense--diarrhea of the mouth. That's also why his head's so puffy and swollen--because of all that shit just dying to get out.

Rush should keep his stupid comments to himself, your right, he is an ass..

Yeah these commentators should keep their comments to themselves!! That especially works out great on the radio. Why doesn't someone on these blog sites actually listen to what the man said instead of the liberal spin.

Yeah, isn't it kind of his job as a commentator to comment?

That being said, I don't agree with what Rush said. I also don't believe in destroying human embryos for stem cell research.

But, that's for another site.

Uh, Fox said on Good Morning America a couple years ago that he skips taking his meds before appearances where he's talking about Parkinson's research so that they can see him shaking.

I guess it's easier to tell somebody to shut up than find out the true story, isn't it?

Rush was big meany because Fox doesn't have of a history of exacerbating the effects of his illness by laying off his meds when it suits his needs right?
I had made a deliberate choice to appear before the subcommittee without medication. It seemed to me that this occasion demanded that my testimony about the effects of the disease, and the urgency we as a community were feeling, be seen as well as heard. For people who had never observed me in this kind of shape, the transformation must have been startling.

Only a couple of people know if Fox was playing up the effects of his illness. If Fox hadn't admitted to worsening the effects for his congressional appearance Rush would be out of line. But given Fox's past, its fair game, if not needed commentary.

whether it's Rush's job to comment or not- what he said was in poor taste, untactful and certainly uncalled for!

Unfortunately we give people such as Mr. Limbaugh the forum to voice their ignorance. That's just one of the many benefits of living in a free country. I find it interesting that he's so quick to judge other people but doesn't really have much to say regarding his little "vice" of prescription medication. In regards to Mr. Fox, the reason he went without the medication for his appearance before the subcommittee was to show the effects of a very debilitating disease. Anyone who has dealt with someone who happens to have Parkinson's is quite familiar with the fact that not only do they suffer with involuntary movements when not medicated, but they do the same once taking the medication. Mr. Limbaugh's attitude is nothing less than despicable and I, for one, believe in Karma and all that comes with it. Ignorance truly is bliss for some...

For those of you blissfully unaware of how parkinson's disease meds work: The meds make them MOVE, they wake up unable to move - not the opposite, so therefore if M. J. Fox hadn't taken his meds he would be more "frozen" if that makes sense.

I think Rush is back on Oxycodone again, he's a hillbilly heroin addict and he is prone to make grandiose statememts, like the ones that got him kicked off the NFL color for Monday night football, I believe he was making racist comments about black quarter backs. The reason he lost his hearing was Vicodin abuse, which in large quanities causes hearing loss. Not a credible man by anyone's definition.

So let's hear it for the Oxycodone, deaf, racist, republican spin meister. Had he even done a little checking, M.J. Fox last season on Spin City proves, even years ago he was losing control of his body. If only Rush would just OD like a good addict, the world would be happier place.
