Let's Get Divorcin'!

Months after the announcement of their separation in August, it now looks like Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson have joined the slew of young celebrity couples who are severing their ties to one another through divorce. Robinson, lead singer of the Black Crowes, filed divorce on Friday from Hudson his wife of six years and is is seeking shared custody of their young son, Ryder.

Kate is currently rumored to be getting very cozy with her "You, Me and Dupree" co-star, Luke Wilson and all of this has me wondering if there are any parties involved who don't have hair that can appropriately be described as "shaggy."

CORRECTION: Sorry, kids, looks like I was getting a little TOO speculative with the Luke Wilson mention. It's actually his brother, Owen.

It's Owen, not Luke.

Hollywood couples separate as easy as they are born. Marriage seems to become so very unimportant nowadays. Anyway, I wish them long life together!

I never thought Hudson-Robinson was a good match, but then again I never thought Aniston-Pitt was a good match either, despite everyone's insistence that they were the perfect couple. I'm no bible thumper but, to quote the bible, a couple should be "equally yoked". Neither of these couples were equally yoked. Kate Hudson's star is burning brightly and Chris Robinson's star is winking out. Hudson is fresh faced, youthful, and gorgeous and Robinson is raggedy, haggard, and looks like a grunge era refugee. Jennifer Aniston is a TV sitcom actress with a few film credits under her belt and Brad Pitt is an International, Blockbuster movie actor with a whole body of film credits under his belt. Aniston, although attractive and maximizes what she has, is horse faced, with a huge nose and masculine jaw, and Brad is . . . well Brad is Brad, a perfect male specimen, with balanced features, popsicle blue eyes, long, lean, taut muscles, great hair, and the father of my future baby (in my alternate dream dimension). The break-up that really shocked me was Witherspoon-Phillipe, because they WERE equally yoked. They seemed so normal and down to earth with their marriage and family arrangement. Oh well, Thats Hollywood.

Oh, I got carried away in the last post. Both Owen and Luke Wilson are hot. Good choice for Kate Hudson. I'll take either. There is something so sexy and comforting about the way they talk (the brothers sound the same). I love the timber of their voices, their accent, the pattern. I even have Owen's voice welcoming me with "You've Got Mail" on my AOL account.
