A Malawi court has ruled that David Banda (Madonna's newly adopted baby boy) can stay with his new family, however, the family environment will be under supervision by a Malawi official for eighteen months, to ensure that that they are indeed fit to have him. Entertainment Weekly/Reuters report:
Madonna has no problem with a Malawi court ruling that allows human rights groups to participate in a judicial review of her adoption of a Malawian child, the singer's lawyer said on Friday. Alan Chinula told Reuters by telephone from the Malawi capital Lilongwe that Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie spoke to him after Wednesday's court decision and said they had "no problems" with the ruling. "They called me from London to express their willingness to sit back and wait for the subsequent hearing now only 15 months away," Chinula said. High Court Judge Andrew Nyirenda Wednesday ruled that a coalition of rights groups and the Malawi Human Rights Commission would be allowed to participate in further judicial review of the interim adoption of one-year-old David Banda.Oh good, that's just enough time to teach that kid how to Vogue. And if he hasn't picked it up by then, then I think they should have to return him.

so someone is getting paid to verify if an excessively rich woman is respecting a little boy's human rights, while the other little boys and girls at the very same orphanage he came from are poor and unhappy..? that's ridiculous.
