With the Super Bowl just around the corner, the NFL Network is looking to put together a star-studded promo for the event and Britney Spears was flatly denied when her team approached the franchise to offer up her participation. From the New York Daily News:

The NFL Network spot plays on the eclectic group of celebrity friends who attend Cincinnati Bengal Chad Johnson's Super Bowl party. Confirmed to appear are L.L. Cool J and country band Rascal Flatts, with Martha Stewart catering.
"Janet Reno and David Beckham are also on the wish list," says the source. "Larry David said he might do it. Also, we're trying to get Predator, from the movie."Ooh, now it's one thing to be flat-out DENIED. It is quite another to be compared to Paris Hilton immediately thereafter and then replaced by Predator. I hope Britney's got enough sense to be offended by that.
