The National Enquirer is claiming that Nick Lachey proposed to his girlfriend, MTV talking head Vanessa Minnillo.

Congrats to beefy Nick if this is true. Somewhere Jessica Simpson is sitting in the back of a limo waiting to exit and go cut the ribbon for a new Pizza Hut opening and thinking about how much bigger Nick's biceps are as compared to John Mayer's.

I agree with the thought "why so soon". I like Nick and think he's making a mistake here. He's only been divorced a year and he's already jumping on the matrimonial bandwagon again? I don't think these two make a good couple and don't see them being together for a long time. He should take his time.
