ContactMusic.com reports that Angie popped into the Shutters on the Beach hotel in Santa Monica, CA to pay for the use of a pricey hotel room so that she and her son could take a quick shower.
A source at the hotel told Star magazine about the celebrity encounter: "Angelina said they only wanted the room for two hours, time enough for them both to take a shower. She was very sweet and seemed like a concerned mom."
The hotel employee, like most of us, found the whole thing very strange: "It was just very bizarre, when she and Brad Pitt own two houses here in Los Angeles, that she would need to spend that kind of money on a hotel room just so she and Maddox could shower."Dude, for all we know, Maddox was on his way to a GAP Kids photoshoot and wanted to look good for the bitches. Personally, I think he's the one who runs the show. Look how he gets them to carry his ass all over the world.
