News reports that Angelina Jolie's mother, Marcheline Bertrand, has passed away. Bertrand lost her battle to cancer Saturday afternoon at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Donations to the Women's Cancer Research Institute located at that same hospital have been requested by the family instead of flowers.

It's tough to lose your mom, no matter what age you are. The poor woman had a tough time of it, and got the best care possible because of her kids. Sad.

Very very sad and Angelina is only 32 years old, that's really young to lose your mother. Cancer is an awful and painful disease. After all this time battling with cancer she is in a better place now.

It is sad but Angelina is a very lucky lady to have had her mother that long. My nephews lost there mom (my sister) at the ages of 2 and 12. I lost my Mom at 21. I would give anything to have lost my Mom at 32, not 21!!!!
