Jennifer Lopez revealed that her Dad has been a Scientologist for 20 years. Really? How come this wasn't mentioned before?
When asked about what she thought about the negative perception some people have about Scientology, Lopez replied, "I, myself, am Catholic. But it's just sad that people would look at it (Scientology) in that way."J.Lo also has a personal connection to the Church of Scientology.
"My dad has been a Scientologist for 20 years," she said. "It's weird people want to paint it in a negative way."
To be honest, most organized religions have some drawbacks. Your Dad's is the fact that they worship alien spaceships and Tom Cruise as their next Messiah. Oh, and also that Scientology tends to harass people, embark on smear campaigns, and expect their members to donate a portion of their salaries. And that a science-fiction writer started it as a joke. Hence the negative. It's weird that people want to portray cock-fighting in a negative way, too but it's all bloody beaks and mortally wounded chickens. I don't know where I'm going with this except to say that Scientology has it's negative aspects.

i could of sworn her father was a preacher or really religous in the traditional sense because she said he was a strict catholic and disproved her life choices. Though you dont have to be religous to disprove your daughter being a whore

Who cares what her father's religion is, number one her dad and mom were separated so who knows what kind of influence he had on his children, apparently none because Jlo is still catholic. She was in catholic school while her father was into Scientology, so people this is not a story worth pursuing.
