This is just....a sad sad item from The New York Post . It's just ...truthful, and like the end of the movie. And not a happy ending, where there's a wedding or the adoption goes through or there's a kiss and the pedestrians around start clapping. It's more like when Bette Midler died onstage in the Rose. Or Courtney Love floated at the bottom of the bathtub while a wheelchair-bound Woody Harrelson tries to drag her out. I mean, I know it's not Pete Doherty or anything. But there's just a feeling that the credits are gonna roll soon. And someone's going to retire to a trailer park.
She's here for Fashion Week, but Britney Spears could use some fashion tips. The pop tart was spotted in the bathroom of the Carlyle Hotel on Friday about 11 p.m., primping with friends in front of the mirror. Our spy overheard Spears complain, "Y'all, I feel old! I'm 24, y'all. I feel old." She was wearing "a red tank minidress, no bra, and huge platform shoes" and had "nappy hair extensions." Spears asked our tipsters, "What should we do in New York? This place [the Carlyle] feels old." Informed that the hotel is a local institution, Spears opted to party at Tenjune instead.There's so much suffering and pain in that paragraph. It's like when Bambi's mother died or Sally Field went off at Julia Robert's funeral. "I feel old". Indeed.
