Anna Nicole Smith's mother Virgie Arthur is urgently seeking momentary custody of her daughter's baby, as she fears the tot could be next in the family tragedy.The former police officer arrived in the Bahamas and met with local police officials and social service workers in a bid to gather information which she hoped would speed up the process as she fights to become five-month-old Dannielynn's protector.

Seriously, the baby's basically a human ATM card at this point, and I'm sure Virgie, Howard, various bodyguards, Prince Zsa Zsa Gabor, Santa Claus, Richard Simmons, and Anna's toothless cousin are looking into how to accquire the kid and subvert trust fund laws at this point. And because she's not even in the ground yet, I'm not going to point out that Anna was sleeping with the world. Which was a nice gesture.
UPDATE: TMZ reports that Anna Nicole Smith's baby girl Dannielynn will be staying in the Bahamas after a judge slapped Howard K. Stern with a court order forbidding him from taking her out of the country.

I am afraid the for baby too--he could do himself in and the baby if he is unstable. Why is the sister talking for him--why is he only on ET to get paid for showing the house was broken into? How come he doesn't allow DNA test which would solve a big problem. He has no rights to the child till he proves he is the father. There are dozens of unanswered questions about the jerk. He has no business taking that baby till he proves he is the father and why are the courts no doing something about this.

ET stated they do not pay for interviews. Vergie shouldve had her fat ass down there sooner, why wasnt she ever concerned for her grandkids before now? Now that alone is quite coincidental isn't it?But then the jerk 'boyfriend' who loved her so much just doesn't seem to be grieving very much. Even if Howard is getting paid for the interviews who cares? It is no different the Anna getting paid for them. I think that Howard loves Anna very much, and has loved her for a long time. She was a big girl and could make her own decisions. If you remember from her show when she wanted something she would pout until she got it. I think her death is tragic, and came way to soon. Howard in NO way had anything to do with her death. RIP Anna.
