Kenny Chesney was the subject of some gay rumors when Renee Zellweger cited "fraud" as one of the reasons for divorcing him. Some vicious vipers assumed it was because she found out he liked tool. The guy is the spiritual heir to Jimmy Buffet, but more concerned with people thinking he's fruity. His priorities are so out of wack. You know there's a concert coming up where Jimmy joins him onstage for "Cheeseburger in Paradise" and several 40-something ex-frat boys in Hawaiian t-shirts and visors quit ogling drunk college chicks in Corona bikinis long enough to spontaneously ejaculate in their khaki shorts from Eddie Bauer. Kill me now. Scratch that. Kill them now. I hate Jimmy Buffet. Though I heard the tailgating's fun if you like underage girls to show their breasts for free Twisted Teas.

The reason for divorce should have been listed as "keeps singing about a free-wheeling sailboat, beach lifestyle and beer and it's just too cheesy for words".

Oh, and that whole "fraud seemed like the easiest basis for divorce" business is lame. If they both wanted a divorce "irreconcilable differences" is the way to go. She divorced him for cause, i.e. he's queer.

I thought they got an annulment, not a divorce - which is totally different and you do need a cause and fraud is the most generic, as opposed to insanity, incest, adultery etc... It's a whole different process.
Now I am not saying he may not be gay but why get married to a woman who lurves getting her groove on with her leading men if you are gay? There were bound to be female sexual demands at some point - which I guess is when she bailed. A question for the ages, because this guy can never come out of the closet, no matter how much fruad he ends up marrying.

i remember seeing this dude singing on some awards show, ages before the whole renee situation, and both my husband and i were talking about how "gay" he was--to us it seemed overly obvious--he could have gone straight to a gay club after singing his song and the boys would have eaten him up!!!! my husband and i laughed and commented on how many gay dudes there really must be in country music, but of course they could never come out.... and then this dude marries renee and of course to us, the reason it didn't work out was obvious to us.

Jimmy Buffet is the greatest... HE and Chesney have the sea and sand in common, They love it and it is a part of their soul!! Yeah that sounds corny, but somethings arent as fake as websites like this which are devoted to smearing gossip about other people.

So very mean and so childish personalities are the post here. I love Kenny Chestney's music and humble ways in all the enterviews that he does. I have most of his records and If I would be so lucky to one day be able to attend one of his concert.
Renee, though I love all her movies, she does not seem to stay with the same person for long and. Have had a few short relationships including Kenny. Kenny on the other hand seem to have been very smitten by the beautiful Renee, other than that have we heard of him being in a lot of relationships??? NO. He is shy and well ajusted and in no mean take anyone for granted. In a resent interview, Kenny stated that he is dating someone but that his lifestyle at the moment is not fair to any woman. He does however want to give marriage a try again and would like children someday. Make totally sense to me. He lives his life very private away from the stage. And that I respect him as an artist and a human being. A fine human being he is.
