The decision has been made and it looks like Anna Nicole Smith is going to be buried next to her son in the Bahamas. Judge Larry Seidlin gave an emotional speech in which he was visibly attempting NOT to sob and announced that Anna Nicole's remains would be handed over to the court-appointed guardian of her baby girl. Shortly thereafter, the guardian, Miami lawyer Richard Milstein, opted to have Anna buried in the Bahamas. This decision came after Seidlin seemed to have been able to convince Stern and Birkhead that a Bahamian burial would be the best option.
The decision appeared to mean the legal tussle over the former topless dancer, famous in life for her bountiful bust, was all but over. But Milstein and Arthur's attorney said Smith's estranged mother would appeal, likely delaying the release of the body.OMG. Lady. LET IT FRIGGIN' REST. Her mom is killing me. If she gave such a crap about Anna's remains, she would have freaked out over the fact that SHE'S THE CAUSE OF THE LITIGATION THAT IS MAKING AN OPEN CASKET IMPOSSIBLE. Someone explain to her that having Anna buried in Texas doesn't mean that a money tree is going to grow from the grave site. Maybe that will help.

The US has little to NO jurisdiction in the Bahamas. Of course HKS wants the body buried there! If it comes out later that ANS was poisoned (and she was) it will be impossible to exhume the body for the evidence HKS used to kill her.
