I first started telling you yesterday about the ASL field trip I took with Wayne Ford to The Haven House, a mansion filled with entertainment and goodies for us to enjoy as part of some pre-Oscar festivities. And I'm sure your interest was piqued by this picture of me doing my best Vanna White next to this luxury Toto Neorest toilet. Oh yes, folks, this bad boy is not your ordinary toilet. In fact, we were promised that this was, "the best friggin' toilet you'll ever sit on." And seriously, the thing has a remote control.

From the TotoUsa Neorest website, it says:

The Neorest has an innovative cyclone flush engine. The NEOREST seat's multi-task functions provide gentle front-and back-aerated warm water spray, which can be regulated for preferred water pressure and temperature. Other technologically-advanced features include oscillating spray massage, heated seat, automatic catalytic air purifier, and warm air dryer all of which are governed by TOTO's revolutionary energy-saving mode.
Holy crap. No really, holy crap.

More about the magical toilet and other goodies after the jump...

Wayne and I were so enamored of this super-commode, that the demonstrator (a young doctor, whom I had trouble believing was even of legal drinking age, he looked so young) felt inclined to offer us a Neorest toilet seat that is worth over a grand. SCORE! Needless to say, there will be a series of blogs dedicated to our adventures with the Toto Neorest. But that is for a later date, my pretties...

There were more goodies to search through and we chatted with the ladies at Jour & Nuit, billing themselves as the designers of "the only shoe you'll ever need." I was pretty impressed with the concept of these shoes, because I'm a woman who is all about multi-tasking (as I'm writing this on my laptop, I'm driving my car, on my phone and doing a cross-word puzzle). According to their site:

With a simple switch of a strap, Jour & Nuit, French for day and night, effortlessly takes the modern woman throughout her day, with a variety of looks on the same shoe. Jour & Nuit is the first designer shoe to feature interchangeable straps that can be removed completely and transferred to any sole in the collection.
I LOVE it! Convertible shoes! The innovator and designer behind Jour & Nuit, Hillary Chan Latos, was nice enough to pose with a pair of shoes that Beyonce Knowles had worn to the Grammys. Katherine Heigl was also seen sporting a pair at the SAG Awards.

All in all, we had a great time. I can't thank the participating vendors and The Haven House ENOUGH for all of our swag and good times.

Now, go out there and enjoy the Oscar weekend!
