Last night, Snoop was stopped by police on his way to an after-concert party with Diddy when Swedish authorities had reason to suspect he'd been using illegal drugs. The AP reports that a mouthpiece for the police claims that both Snoop and "a female companion" were taken to the Stockholm police station. TMZ reports:
"He underwent some tests that will now be sent away for analysis," said the spokesman. "In two to three weeks, we'll know if he was on something." Swedish cops didn't specify what narcotics may have been involved.Well, I think I'd rather find out that he's getting in trouble for using drugs, than to find out that he'd been rapping about getting high and lying about it. Street cred is very important to me, as you probably have already guessed.

I love that Snoop and Tom Petty share my birthday ... and we all love the chronic.

weed is one thing people should not be punished for. BUying it does not support terrorism or violence. Its grown literally in backyards. The users are not being viiolent they are sitting doing nothing. I dont get it why does'nt goevernment worry more about drugs that do or illegal immigration.
Swede says:
It was weed he used. The officers said "he literally smelled marijuana", and one officer told the newspaper that "he was the nicest guy we ever had here. It was all like "yes, sir" and "no, sir".
The police also said he had shown them a paper saying he was using marijuana legally for medical reasons, but that that didn't apply in Sweden obviously.
We Swedes are really tough on even soft drugs, which makes it kind of a hard country to live in.
Over here, you can actually get your life destroyed by just possesing a few joints and being caught by the police. The authorities think all drugs are equally bad, and say cannabis is the worst "because it's the most common drug". It's so stupid. Isn't alcohol the most common drug? Or tobacco?
