Animal-loving actress Pamela Anderson has sent fashion designer pal Tommy Hilfiger a bouquet of flowers after learning he had banned fur from his collections. Anderson, 39, introduced Hilfiger to Dan Mathews, vice-president of People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA), at her August (06) wedding to Kid Rock in St Tropez in the south of France. After Mathews brought Hilfiger's attention to the cruel methods used in fur farms, the American designer decided to withdraw animal skins from his forthcoming line. Anderson enthuses, "Since Tommy mostly used fur on collars and cuffs, his decision to go fur-free really puts the spotlight on fur trim, which is one of my biggest pet peeves. "People who think 'it's just a little fur trim' need to know that animals suffer tremendously for every piece of fur, and it's unacceptable to wear any of it. "Flowers? Cheap bitch. You never heard of jewelry? This bitch is so crazy. I'm like Kathleen from America's Next Top Model. They get fur from animals that are already laying around dead who died in fights, rrrriiiggghhhtttt?

Eh... T hilfiger is obnoxious, and probably just jumping on the anti-fur band wagon for a little good publicity. Pam on the other hand, really seems to care about animals. I have -alot- of respect for her. Usually it's not what's intresting about a person that's redeeming. Who cares about her hep c? plus, fur sucks.
