Straight from the mouths of Domenico and Stefano comes the answer to the noticeable trend shift.

When we create a new collection we think that what we design will be worn by common people. Our references are open-minded people, curious, ironic; people who don't fear to run risks." So Vicky is too classy to wear the new D&G lines. I am glad to see they are willing to slum it for "common people." I guess even in her awful "Spice Girls" days she outranked my ass. I mean I buy tops from the "Go International" lines at Target. I should probably be dragged out into the streets and beaten with faux Louis Vuitton handbags for sport and entertainment for the Beckhams.
