Dina Lohan got her ass thrown off a scheduled guest spot on "The View" this morning, apparently because Rosie isn't her biggest fan.
The 44-year-old was due to appear on the femme-fueled chat fest Thursday morning, presumably to speak about her daughter, as well as, no doubt, the current Harper's Bazaar article in which she lashes out at her "party mom" image and the media's assumption that Lindsay, who as it happens just completed a stint in rehab and who boasted in December that she had gone an entire seven days without a drink, is an alcoholic.O'Donnell, likely speaking on behalf of a major portion of the country, wasn't buying the claims and said as much during Wednesday's show, reading aloud from a rather unflattering New York Post article detailing some of the stage mom's more choice quotes from the magazine profile.
Producers apparently took the hint and dropped the elder Lohan from their lineup.
A "View" spokesperson said the decision was made at "the discretion of producers" (aka Rosie). Snap! Keep reading for Dina's camp's reaction.
"The woman is honest," her rep told People. "Just because the New York Post and Rosie O'Donnell take everything out of context? There's nothing bad there. Dina's doing the best she can with what she has. [She] has three other kids. No one ever talks about that."God, Dina's the anti-cougar. Go home, Dina! Though Rosie might want to lighten up a TEENSY bit. There is such a thing as "good TV" and having those two hash it out coulda been some ace programming. Rosie needs to put her morals aside for a couple of ticks and harness her show buisness instincts.

Ramanatha says:
She also told Liz Hasselbeck to stop blathering about her right wing opinions. Delicate Liz was so taken aback that she been griping, back stage, that Barbara W. has lost control on the View. Sounds like a Kindergarten class, right?
Jinxy McDeath says:
It's impossible to care what Rosie thinks about anything. She's always in some sort of fight about something stupid. It must be hell living with that idiot, hope she pays that poor girlfriend a basketfull of money to put up with her ass.
Dina is a poor excuse for a parent, her kids are meal tickets and she's unaware the rest of the world has figured this fact out. There is no context for being so transparently hideous.
baaqar says:
Typical Rosie, and for many others that feel the same way as her. They blabber on about censorship, but are always the first to do it.
The way to show that the mom is what most of us think she is would be to let her hang herself on the show. But that would take the ability of an interviewer to think critically instead of intimidating someone or making personal putdowns. Rosie obviously isn't up for that job.
J$ says:
i don't who's worse Dina, Lindsay, or Rosie. kind of a toss up.
fluffy says:
Jinxy... perfection! Exactly how I feel as well. Rosie has lost perspective completely...
Jim Treacher says:
Whatever you think about the Lohan family, Rosie O'Donnell telling somebody how to be a role model is like Darth Vader giving skin-care tips.
DarthPaul says:
All the Lohans should be shunned/ignored; Rosie should be lobotomized, and the View should be cancelled on principle.
Pauul in NYC says:
These comments are wildly out of touch with opinions towards Rosie. You must live in the fly-over states.
sandy says:
Rosie has morals? I think she is an obnoxious freakshow. Not smart. Not funny. Not talented.
T-Bone says:
Dina Lohan is the worst excuse for a parent, and Rosie needs to "pick her battles". Seriously, if Rosie would take that mouth of hers and her money and fight for something like justice or poverty, instead of fighting people like Donald F*ing Trump and Dina Lohan, she could actually do a world of good!
BK says:
Wasn't going to comment until I saw "NYC" quote "fly-over" states...by the by, CHICAGO is Midwest and still the third largest city in the US. I'd hardly call all of these comments "wildly out of touch." Rosie's just looking for yet another feud...although, I do agree Dina is a terrible excuse for a parent. Had they let Dina on the show, she would have made that crystal clear to the public.
LJMS says:
This is the first time I've heard of a Conservative Lesbian...
T-Bone says:
LJMS -- being pissed off about horrible parenting is not a "conservative" thing OR a "liberal" thing. It's a human thing.
hmweis says:
I'm sorry, but how can you consider what Rosie is doing "censorship"? Why should that walking train wreck, Dina, be given any sort of platform to defend herself? I, personally, have no interest in hearing what she has to say.
T-Bone says:
That's the point, hmweis! Dina Lohan is such an idiot that for sure she'd make an ass out of herself on live televisiion. The woman can barely speak, she's so stupid. So I say have her on the show! Give her the proverbial rope with which to hang herself!!! Rosie could have had a hey day with her!
