Defending the honor of Britney Spears, Bill Clinton recently spoke out about aggressive tabloid culture. According to the former president who himself is no stranger to scandal, certain media outlets simply go too far. From Women's Wear Daily:

"I think there's something wrong with modern culture if Britney Spears -- who I happen to like -- can't have a personal crisis without having it splashed all over the tabloids," he griped.
This quote is from when the president had the occasion to speak in front of an audience of nearly 1,000 members of the entertainment media for the television upfronts. However, Clinton's mood changed when he fondly spoke of "Boston Legal."
"The chemistry between William Shatner and James Spader is something to behold every week."
Remember when James Spader was sort of sexy, in his strange, 80's villain/almost-rapist unpredictable way? Now, I look at him and the image I get is a puffy guy with hipster glasses and a strange speech pattern. In addition to that, he now plays in a show opposite William Shatner, much to the amusement of Bill Clinton. If someone would have told me ten years ago that this would be the case today, I would have smacked them for being so silly.

I'm not surprised he's coming to her defense- she's looking more and more like his old "cigar" buddy with that black wig!

Bubba said "I think there's something wrong with modern culture if Britney Spears -- who I happen to like -- can't have a personal crisis without having it splashed all over the tabloids, and I'd totally tap that skanky ass"

Honestly,
I do not know who use to be in her life that is no longer in her life that had some say so on what she looked like when she was in public, but whoever that was, they need to find them and fly them back this Brit's side NOW!

MEMO TO BILL CLINTON: She courts the paps, dummy. Where the hell have you been??

First of all, get stuffed, Billy. I think there's something wrong with modern culture if Britney Spears an't have a personal crisis without having it splashed all over the tabloids, either, but not the way you do.

Society is a sad shit hole that has nothing better to do with its time other than get wrapped up in the pathetic and blase lives of druggies with money. Where's the true art, science, music, or anything else to keep us alive and on our toes? Nowhere. No one can be bothered to really do anything of worth, so watching Baldney Shears' life go down the toilet is now the entertainment.

Eddie Izzard is right. All America has to look forward to are orgies and vomitariums, since we are the new Roman Empire. There's no one else going. We SUCK.

Bill, you still tryna' tap that ass?

Look here mr clinton, when people like britney spears splash their dirty laundry all over the media they think it`s cute. Well it`s not ,so don`t go around telling us that we are a society that put people down because of some mistakes they made. No we don`t put people down because of their mistakes. WE PUT PEOPLE DOWN FOR BEING IDIOTS, INSTEAD OF LOOKING FOR HELP FOR HER SUPPOSED PROBLEMS. She was running all over the country zooming in and out of rehabs. like they were hamberger drive throughs. Leaving her babies with nannies, and comming home the next afternoon. if she doesn`t like people commenting about her life then she should keep it real. And the news about another baby. It is disgusting. She can`t even take care of the one`s she has. what is she thinking. Does she think this is going to fix her life and what everyone thinks about her well it won`t. The jokes on her. She definately has a screw lose.

James Spader was the best evil junior yuppie '80s villian. God I miss Steph!

Does Britney Spears look like she's ready for a slot on an '80s night time soap or what?

I agree with Clinton. However he was not given such tough tasks in his presidency.
Hopefully Hilary can clean this mess up and guide society what is really important.
