Well, here we go. The head guy in charge (medical examiner for Broward County, Florida) is saying that apparently an accidental overdose of drugs combined with an infection is what killed Anna. They have officially ruled out homicide or suicide.
After performing an autopsy, it became clear, Anna Nicole Smith died of an accidental overdose of medication.Chief Tiger says Howard Stern will not be prosecuted. As TMZ first reported, Stern's computer was checked and there was no evidence of anything untoward.
Charlie Tiger, Chief of the Seminole Police Department, just announced there was no evidence of illegal drugs on the day Anna Nicole died and there was no evidence of foul play.

"We did not find any evidence that would point to homicide," according to Dr. Joshua Perper. He said "We did not find any fact...which could raise credible suspicion of homicide."There was no evidence to suggest forced-feeding of one of the drugs Anna ingested. Anna was recovering from her depression at the time of her death. She had not made statements about suicide in the weeks prior to her death.
Dr. Perper says Anna did not try to commit suicide when she fell in a pool shortly after Daniel died. It was an accident caused by too many drugs.None of the drugs in Anna's system were enough to kill her by themselves. It was a lethal combo. The infected abscess in her buttock contributed. Anna did not take methadone the day she died, but there was evidence she had taken it several days earlier.
Dr. Perper concluded was combined drug intoxication, including anxiety and depression medication, valium, ativan and antihistamine. She also had chlorohydrate, which was the major component in her death.
Dr. Perper says when his team went back and examined Anna Nicole, he found multiple injections in the left buttock and it appeared a needle perforated something under the skin that caused an infection. The needle perforated an abscess and caused the infection that led to a high fever.
Dr. Perper says Anna's temperature went down after the first tough night at the Hard Rock, but she exhibited vomiting and as the week wore on her condition deteriorated. On the last day of her life, Thursday, February 8, Dr. Perper says Howard K. Stern woke up at 10 AM and found Anna awake. Stern helped her to the bathroom and then she went back to bed and went to sleep.
Dr. Perper says Stern left the room and didn't return until after 911 was called. Dr. Joshua Perper announced when Anna Nicole flew to Miami before she died, she was complaining of pain in her left cheek.
Sources say Anna had a 105 degree fever when she checked into the Hard Rock but refused to go to the hospital. Dude, what a mess. Why was someone that sick NOT in the hospital? You get her crazy ass in a car and you drive her. Probably easier said than done, but still. Anyway, one down, one to go - who's the daddy?

and JFK died of a bullet. Farce. Tune in next week when we review the movie and ask "Who's the baby daddy?" Large swathes of the media are getting behind Stern and declaring the case closed. Post internet that's never going to happen, mass media.
