Well, she's divorcing her husband who just got busted for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl . That sucks, but isn't this very thing what country music is based on? At least good country music, not that crap Faith Hill and Tim McGraw hee-haw about. Tim McGraw......*drool* What? Oh, yeah, uh so Wynonna filed for divorce and should get several 1,000 good songs out of it. "My Husband Was A Diddler, And Lawd, I Set Him Free" or "Your Heart Goes Wild When Your Man Touches A Child". Yeah, uh, I'm not a songwriter.
Wynonna Judd has filed for divorce against her estranged husband, D.R. Roach, citing irreconcilable differences. Her official Web site today elaborates that "Roach was arrested on March 22, 2007 in Abilene, TX and charged with three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a minor."A statement from the country singer on her site says: "I am obviously devastated. Our family will pull together, begin the healing process and hopefully - by the Grace of God - become stronger. We will move forward with our faith, family and our friends to find resolution to this difficult situation."
The filing comes after reports spread that Roach was arrested last week and is being held in the Taylor County Jail. The Abilene (Texas) Reporter-News reported the story on Sunday.
An Associated Press report said that he is wanted as a fugitive from justice in Tennessee and was arrested Thursday at 402 A Mulberry St. in Abilene, a jail official said. His bail is set at $750,000. The report further said that Roach had been seeking treatment for drug and alcohol addiction at the Shades of Hope Treatment Center in Buffalo Gap, Texas since February 21, 2007.
So did he allegedly try and tag the kid while he was at rehab? What, was he at Wonderland?
