The secrecy surrounding the two-hour "Grey's Anatomy" episode scheduled to air in May, that will launch the story plot in which Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery into a life of her own, has been such that during a presentation of the episode, cast members were forbidden from discussing details of the new developments. However, the Los Angeles Times is more than happy to oblige:
Following her disastrous romantic misfortunes, Addison (Kate Walsh) travels to Santa Monica to seek advice from her old medical school pals, Naomi (Merrin Dungey) and Jackson (Taye Diggs), whom she believes have it all: a beautiful teenage daughter, a great marriage and a highly successful health cooperative.

Addison quickly learns that Jackson, also a successful TV health guru, has divorced Naomi. Addison also meets the rest of the gang at the cooperative -- a widowed alternative medicine doctor, a self-doubting therapist and a male gynecologist who knows little about women -- and concludes that while the personal lives of the people around her may be a mess, professionally they stand out. (Sounds like those crazy interns, right?) So she decides to leave Seattle Grace behind and join the Oceanside Wellness Group team.Let's just hope that those evil, behind-the-scenes gremlins that have been gnawing away at the cast on "Grey's Anatomy" don't follow her. And also, that a plot twist somewhere along the first season, has her hooking up with Taye Diggs' character because I can already see from her that that would be HOT.

i really like kate and her character, "addison," but someone needs to tell ABC that no one is interested in taye diggs. that man couldn't act his way down a flight of stairs if he got pushed! i'm sure i'll be passing on this one.

Seriously, Grey's charm has nothing to do with Addison, it's has everything to do with Meredith, her neurotic and insane personality and the chemistry between the castmembers.
Why spin-off eveything ?

it would be more interesting if the screen went blank for an hour. i dont wanna see that old cougar do...what? what does she do besides walk about in high heels in that hospital. NO. They should have spun off George or Izzy or even Dr. McSteamy.
