According to TMZ, Sharon Osbourne is stepping in to replace Brandy's role as judge on the new season of "America's Got Talent." And, incidentally, are you enjoying this picture that we used that looks like Sharon is at a funeral and completely and utterly despondent? That's right folks, we've got loads of couth and we're not afraid to use it.
While rumors have swirled that Osbourne was in talks with NBC, a well-placed source tells TMZ that the embattled R&B star is officially out -- and the rock and roll chatter queen is in. There was wide speculation over Brandy's role on the talent show following her involvement in a December freeway crash that claimed a woman's life. The City Attorney has yet to file charges against the "Moesha" star.Jeez, what kind of world are we living in where Whitney Houston's future is looking less precarious than that of Brandy? Also, I tend to feel like the title of the show is a bit too optimistic. Does anyone really believe that America has talent? OMG, just kidding! I love this great country! (Please don't put me on a special list...)
