Meanwhile, I thought we were all still speculating on the Reese Witherspoon/Jake Gyllenhaal romantic connection, but People magazine hints that their gossip scientists have uncovered the facts behind why they are together, making it sound like a done deal. At first, it didn't seem like the two hooking up would be much of a possibility.
But during a reshoot in L.A., "Jake went and reintroduced himself to Reese," a source close to both stars tells PEOPLE in its new issue.And from there, what a friend of Witherspoon's calls "their little flirtation" just took its course. "Things slowly progressed, but it was never something she thought would happen from the start. She just kind of developed this little crush over time."
Lots of insiders are buzzing about their budding relationship, quick to add that the two seem well-suited for one another and this might just be the real deal.
"Kirsten wanted to go out and have fun and he wanted to stay in, watch a movie and cook dinner. ... He's very into his work, health and family.
