I totally forgot this movie even existed until I read that TMZ was reporting that Penelope Cruz and Matthew McCounaghey's health and beauty needs on the set of "Sahara" ended up costing the film more than $350,000. Glenn Bunting of the L.A. Times got his hands on the inside scoop.
In the report, set to be published tomorrow, Bunting claims he has obtained official documents verifying the outrageous expenditures, which include:Penelope's hairstylist -- $135,550
Penelope's dialogue coach -- $125,804
Matt's Personal trainer -- $67,977
Matt's Personal Chef -- $48,893
Here's the thing--for those of you not working in "The Biz," this might seem like an exorbitant amount of money. But for those of us whose job it is to charm and entertain you, we happen to know that it takes a lot of upkeep to be a star. I cannot even begin to tell you guys how much hair weave I have to put in nearly every morning, just to be able to get up and write a decent blog post. Also, my dialogue coach says that I'm making great strides in the whole "making sense" department.
