Marilyn Manson admits that the rumors are true--he and his teenaged girlfriend, Evan Rachel Wood, are definitely an item. And would you please excuse me, while I step away briefly to toss my cookies? Thanks.
While speaking with the French newspaper, Le Parisien, Manson had this to say about his connection with his love, who is nearly twenty years younger than he:
"I've found my double, my twin, with my new girlfriend, Evan Rachel Wood. She's 19 and certainly that's very young, but that's not a problem for me. She likes the same things as me. She understands I like to get up when night falls and go to sleep at dawn."Um, that's because she's NINETEEN. She's probably excited to be staying up past the bedtime her usual, less permissive babysitter is so strict with enforcing. Manson also elaborated on why he believes that his marriage to Dita Von Teese was unable to weather the test of time.
"I was married to someone who wanted me to change, become more adult, more responsible. I began not to like myself, not like what I do. I lost my identity. Everything began collapsing around me."I feel like every time I've heard this man talk in interviews or what-have-you, he always really does seem well-spoken and actually pretty interesting, but I still just can't seem to wrap my brain around the concept of anyone actually wanting to have sex with him. But then again, I'm not blind.
