In any case, Larry Birkhead recently posed with baby, Dannielynn, for OK Magazine in an exclusive, sit-down interview and photo shoot to the tune of a whopping $1.7 million.
In the new issue of OK magazine, Larry Birkhead describes what it was like when the DNA tests were read in court, finally revealing that he was Dannielynn's father. "In court, when they were about to open that envelope, it was like the Academy Awards and they say, 'And the winner is,' " Birkhead says. "You just sit there trembling."But did all that money from OK really go to Birkhead? Not quite, says, Marc Malkin at E! News.
OK's editor-in-chief, Sarah Ivens, who would not say how much was doled out, says the undisclosed payment didn't go to Birkhead. "All deals private and confidential, but all fees went to a trust fund for the baby," Ivens wrote in an email to me this afternoon.I really wish J. were writing this post, because he would have come up with a clever joke about Larry Birkhead's complicated hairdo by this point, but me--I've got nothing. Oh wait, yes, maybe now he can invest in a crimping iron. Ha! OK, I'm done trying.

He has to pay all that money to debra opri, I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing. But Im sure he wanted to show the world that Dannielynn belongs to him..good luck Larry

How often do you see a man fight for a child that may or may not be his? Then he finds out it is his child. I think Birkhead is an amazing man, and will be an amazing father. If a few pix can make him a few mil, so be it...I think he and his daughter deserve every penny. All the best to both of them.
