I have never met her, but for some reason, whenever I see a picture of tiny Selma Blair, I just want to put her in my pocket and then take her home and force her to eat some peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches with me, whilst we chat about how silly those other celebs are. Starpulse News Blog reports that Selma recently did a quiet stint in rehab for substance abuse.
Friends tell tabloid the National Enquirer the 34-year-old actress has been struggling with a substance abuse problem that became worse after she split from husband Ahmet Zappa last year.Blair reportedly checked into Promises rehab facility in Malibu, California last month.
Well, I hope she got the help she needed. At least she's got enough sense to keep her shenanigans undercover. Do you like how I'm nice to some celebs and just plain bitchy to others? I giveth...and then I taketh away. Such is the way of the blog.

I hope she's doing better, if indeed she did have a problem. I just remember seeing her on Letterman one night and thinking she was going to waste away if she didn't stop using _______. I don't know what she was doing but it was obvious that she was not healthy. She's a super-funny, talented girl.
