I've read (in British interviews) that she's super self-conscious about how she looks when she smiles--not necessarily her teeth, but her smile overall. She seems to smile a lot more in UK TV interviews and photo shoots. As ridiculous as she can be, I <3 Posh and Becks!

That was sooo not a real smile if you go to X17 online and watch the video..You can see that the guy tries to give her a hug and she puts her hand out instead..That is an embarress smile..and Awkard smile..She doesn't have a top lip so how can she smile : )

I am not a fan of the beckhams, especially posh, but she actually looks cute (and human) when she smiles. I agree with most of the above that she should do so more often.
