Interview tapes of Anna Nicole Smith describing her rocky relationship with her mother, her relationship with her late husband, as well as tales of sexual abuse during her tumultuous childhood are being presented to publishers in a book pitch by Joyce Wagner, Smith's former manager. The tapes and interview notes were originally taken back in the summer of 1996, when Anna Nicole was hoping that a book deal would help pull her out of the financial hole. In telling descriptions of her mother's treatment of her, Anna these recordings may also very well play a role in the custody decision of her young daughter.
Smith even alleged that Arthur, a deputy sheriff, "hit me with a nightstick." (Arthur's attorney, Debra Rose, didn't return our call for comment by deadline.) Smith also said someone had sexually abused her. "I don't want to talk about that now," says Wagner. "But this book will explain a lot."Smith also talked about her sexual relationship with her elderly husband, J. Howard Marshall.
"We had sex a lot," Smith told Wagner. "He could not exactly satisfy me, which is to be expected. But he was very satisfied himself. That's really all that mattered to me. He satisfied me in other ways. He cared about me. He never looked down at me."Sheesh, for a woman, who documented the hell out of her life, it's amazing it took so long to figure out who the hell her baby-daddy was. You'd think she'd have at least scribbled that down on a Post-It somewhere.
