Hollywood hit up the three-day music festival in the desert this weekend, with celebs and regular folk alike, sporting skimpy outfits whilst enjoying some of their favorite musical acts. Amy Winehouse gathered a crowd, as she performed songs from her hit album, "Back to Black," and Bjork also was a major draw, as she gave the crowd some old-school favorites, as well some new joints from her new album, including a Timbaland collabo.
Not to be outdone, Scarlett Johansson joined British band, Jesus and the Mary Chain, on stage. The actress sang vocals for "Just Like Honey," and had been teased earlier as a mystery special guest. She joined the band near the end of their set . This performance serves as a reminder of the rumor that she was planning on doing an album of Tom Waits covers, and for the life of me, I can't remember if that were disproven, or is really happening.
In any case, Scarlett's voice wasn't at all terrible, from what I can remember from the karaoke scene in "Lost in Translation," but I'm so over this whole cross-over thing, especially since she's not even writing her own songs. Unless I happened to get a record deal somehow (and by "somehow," I obviously mean if I accidentally gave the right person a blow-job). Then, it would be different. Because I'm broke.
