...Angelina Jolie's been out getting her humanitarianism on. Just kidding, I don't eat veal. But I wasn't kidding about Angie. She took a trip to NYC to speak this past Friday at a screening for "A Place in Time" for a number of public school students. Also sponsored by the Tribeca Film Institute, the documentary, which the philanthropic actress helped to direct, takes a look at the everyday lives of various individuals around the world.
"I am thrilled to screen this film along with the Tribeca Film Institute to the students of the New York City public school system, one of the most culturally diverse in the world," Jolie said. "Today's students will be our leaders tomorrow and they will inherit the many problems we face. We hope that in some small way this film can interest them in international issues and our increasingly interconnected world."I really have no "Angie's philanthropic and I'm not" jokes left in me at the moment, so I'm simply going to add that I have no idea what the heck is going on in this first picture. As far as I can tell, it looks like she's being born behind tinted windows.
