Rosie O'Donnell has alerted the global media via website haiku that she will not longer be verbally backhanding Elisabeth Hasselbeck on "The View" because Hasselbeck's with child . First off, please stop with the haikus. It's not adorable, or whimsical or heartfelt. It's irritating, and makes me feel guy-premenstrual to have to adjust my eyes to reading goddamn stanzas. Secondly, why is she punishing people who watch "The View" by letting that empty-headed Jesus freak blab her tired nonsense just because her husband's dick works? What did they ever do to her? Poor "View" fans. Poor the rest of us, I still have to report on this mess.

I hate to dwell on this, but "jesus freak" is not a great choice of phrase. I guess I would be considered a Jesus freak too since I believe and attend church weekly. But, I have never shared a single opinion of Elisabeth's so don't see why that term applies. Belief in Jesus does not make you a conservative war monger.

Barbara, when I hear the term "Jesus Freaks" I think of the type of person that attempts to cram the Bible and their personal religious views down everyone's throat. There are many people who are "religious" that go unnoticed because they live what they believe and don't feel the need to force it on others or judge others. I really don't watch the View and I have seen Elizabeth maybe twice so I don't know if she does beat the religion drum on the show or not. For me Jesus Freaks=Hypocrites.
