Damn, sucks for Kelly. Her new, unreleased album has been massacred by Clive Davis and possibly scrapped before it even comes out . I did hear the new single. Clive might have a point.
Pop star Kelly Clarkson has reportedly scrapped her new album after label bosses weren't impressed with the record. The 25-year-old singer suffered a scathing attack from Sony BMG chief Clive Davis after he heard the new tracks, reports British newspaper the Daily Star.A source at the record company tells the paper, "It was an extraordinary presentation. Clive was absolutely merciless in his criticism of Kelly.
"She's one of the biggest priorities on the label and her new songs were savaged."
The American Idol winner has been working on the follow up to 2005s best selling album Breakaway for 18 months, but has reportedly gone back to the studio to work on new tracks.
But she released one of the crappy ones in the meantime? Who knows? I do know that "Since U Been Gone" is the best song ever produced, and I will never stop carrying the fifteen million remixes of it on my iPod.

I don't think the "single" bears any relation to what was supposed to be on the album she recorded.
If you saw her play over the summer and heard the new songs she was writing (she played four new songs when I saw her at Jones Be-atch), you'd have to conclude that Clive Davis is senile. The shit rocked, and it did not sound like some fake Since You Been Gone low-rent knock-off.

Finally somebody went public about the fact that she sucks! I can't stand her voice, and fake nice girl next door attitude. So annoying.

RCA SUPPORTS KELLY: Despite rumor-mongering from the U.K. Daily Star and other online sources, there is no dispute between Kelly Clarkson and the RCA Music Group. These rumors began after the SBMG International meetings in Las Vegas a couple of weeks back and were based on an inaccurate report about Clive Davis' presentation of Kelly's new LP at the confab. Sources who were there insist the chatter is not true. In fact, Davis specifically stated that Kelly is "one of the top four artists at Sony BMG" and wanted to ensure that she is treated as such. There are absolutely no plans to scrap the LP. Meanwhile, Richard Palmese's promo team is working round the clock to deliver Kelly's first single, "Never Again," to trigger the release of what all are convinced is a chart-topping album. (5/4p)

I don't agree with any of that. Kelly Clarkson is one of the best American Idols ever. The only other good first place winner is Carrie Underwood. If you all think she sucks then let's see you do better.

Yeah, uh, there's no way they'd can it. Come on. Her tour starts in what, July? That would be ridiculous. If anything they might send it back to be fine-tuned some, change a few things.. Not can the entire CD. Haha. I laughed so hard when I read this. Couldn't be more fake.
ZDIVA says:
Just bought her new CD off of itunes. It rocks. Her voice rocks, her music rocks and her lyrics have the possibility to CONNECT with millions - moreso than the generic crap they wanted her to put on the album.
