Seriously, this is just depressing to write about. In London over the weekend a 28-year-old was arrested on suspicion of drug possession by Metropolitan Police, who have neither confirmed nor denied that the individual was Pete Doherty. Despite this lack of confirmation from police, a report published today in The Sun stated that it was, in fact, the Babyshambles singer, who is currently being treated for his addiction to cocaine and heroin. Doherty had this to say at a recent court appearance that took place last month:
"The people I'm closest to have had enough. They've said it's drugs or them."I don't know that there's anything I can say that hasn't already been expressed in a hundred other posts I've written. But maybe it's time to for me to bust out that reality TV idea I've been kicking around where celebrities each at various stages of recovery from drug addiction are forced to live together in a house, entitled, "The Clean Life." Cause I'm dying to see Courtney Love and Whitney tangle with Pete over a jar of peanut butter.

When I was coming clean a few years ago I craved McD's double quarter pounders w/cheese and the seasonal delight that is JITB pumpkin pie milk shake. Damn, it's a good thing I now live in a different country that isn't so into fast food or else I'd be oding on fat/sugar as we speak.
