Girl, tell me about it. Seriously, though, don't. It will just annoy me.
The Bielster is complaining that her sexiness is getting in the way of her acquiring the film roles that she'd really like to sink her teeth into. Put on some glasses and braces. That usually worked in all of the 80's makeover movies--you just have to work backwards. In her recent interview with Elle magazine, she laments her physical assets, claiming that they're overshadowing her other talents.
"(One director told me,) 'I'm not looking for the sexiest woman; I'm looking for the girl next door.'"And who would that be? According to Biel, these are the sexy yet approachable hos standing in the way of her cinematic greatness.
"Parts I really want aren't going to me, like The Other Boleyn Girl with Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman."I don't want to say that there's nothing I love that I can't have. But there's still the occasional script that the director doesn't want to see you for. They want that top tier of girls."
Hmm, remember way back when it was so important for you to shake that dreaded "girl-next-door" image by posing nude in a magazine at age 17? To that, I say, "A-HA!" Now stop whining to me about your sexy problems.
