Just because Rosie O'Donnell's off "The View" doesn't mean she'll be out of daytime talk for long. Her agent has been working on pitching a talk format, in which Rosie would act as a host, but have a guest host pop in on a weekly basis and much like "The View," the show would also feature a "hot topics" segment. Although Rosie is open to producing with smaller entertainment companies and would enjoy the independence granted her under their banner, the $40 million dollar payday she's looking for would most likely be found at a major studio. And, it looks like CBS and NBCU are very interested. Even ABC will probably hope to see if it can make a competitive offer in June. From Broadcasting and Cable:
Still, interest in O'Donnell remains high in Hollywood. As one executive puts it, "She may be a polarizing figure, but if we can just get 5%-10% of those who agree with her and a few of those who don't, we would have a hit."Personally, I want to see her in a "Pardon the Interruption"-type show with Donald Trump. And lots of flying koosh balls and "American Gladiators"-style competitions between the two.

haha. You forgot those inflatable sumo suits with pugil sticks. That would be something I would definitely watch!

Please let this cow die.
I can't stand her anymore - nor The View.
Goddess says:
Well I would welcome her return. Those who don't like it, turn the channel.

She's just a pain. Ooooh! You're a big liberal lesbian! I'm so shocked! Wow, could she get any more Yawn-tastic?
Loob says:
She had her own talk show, back in '94. What happened with that, and why would she want to do it again, and so forth? :)
Maybe the whole thing slipped her mind.
