It was teeny-bopper excitement at its most intense as the latest installment of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" opened at Disneyland, the home of the ride on which the movie is based. Young fans of the film went crazy for its stars, Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Geoffrey Rush, who tread the red-carpet and signed autographs.
Also making appearances were a reliably creepy-looking Wilmer Valderrama, whose signature look seems to vacillate between vampire and serial killer as he peers right through my soul in this picture, imagining the things he could do to me with a coat hanger. *Shudder.* And there's Teri Hatcher, who's kind of rocking the same windblown, crazy-faced look as Keith Richards, who's wearing slightly more eyeliner than her. Orlando, you're cute and all, but you're no Johnny who, even when he's sporting a decidedly Paula Poundstone-esque ensemble, still has my heart.
