What a total dickhead. Everytime I've seen the mullet and the chain, and the earnest hands toward God - I've wanted to hurl my Oscar at the TV. I don't have an Oscar but I should. Anyway, this guy was busted for roughing up his wife and now we have details. Apparently he didn't like the bottle of Orangina he was drinking so he hummed it at her. First off, who drinks Orangina anymore? Unless you're in junior high in 1988 and hanging out by the payphones in the mall. Here is the followup to our earlier post:
Scott Stapp's wife claims that she was "in fear for her life" when the rocker flung a glass bottle of Orangina at her face during an alleged incident Sunday morning.According to the police report, Stapp's wife, Miss New York USA 2004, Jaclyn Nesheiwat Stapp, claims that she called 911 after Scott stumbled into their $5 million mansion around 8:00 AM and got "very angry" when she asked if he was "using drugs." Jaclyn told police that Stapp began yelling at her to "leave him alone," before he grabbed an Orangina bottle and launched it at her face, nearly hitting her.
When cops arrived, they found the shattered bottle ... and several handguns locked in a safe. According to the report, "Scott was very cooperative" about handing over the firearms, which were immediately confiscated. One of the responding officers claims that Stapp did admit to throwing the bottle, but the former Creed frontman also said, "Jaclyn was no where in the area."
The charge was knocked down to a misdemeanor, by the way. So if you need me, I'll be hurling a glass bottle of Dr. Pepper at my boyfriend's nose. He didn't pick up the dry-cleaning and I've told him more than once that I don't like Vienna Fingers.

So, how did the cops know he had handguns LOCKED in a safe? Why confiscate them (he probably has a license) when they weren't even a part of the "crime" that was allegedly committed? I smell a rat, I think his "wifey" is out to get him.
hahahahahaha. Ok, he's a drugged up, has been...but really, something is weird about the whole handgun confiscation thing.
