Despite reports that Katie Holmes is enjoying her relative freedom on the set of "Mad Money," as well as a flirtatious relationship with her co-star, Adam Rothenbertg, Life&Style is reporting that Katie is ready to have another baby with husband Tom Cruise. According to the mag, Cruise and Holmes are relocating this summer to a seven bedroom mansion worth an estimated $35 million, and have already laid plans to make one of those rooms into a nursery for the new baby.
"He told her how much he loves their little girl [Suri] and how he wants to have another baby when Katie's ready," a "friend of the couple" told the mag, adding, "She told him she's ready."And, "in his typically enthusiastic fashion," reports L&S, "Tom's moving full steam ahead preparing for a new arrival."
I guess it will be nice for Suri to have someone who can relate to her strange stories of her childhood that she will inevitably collect as she gets older. Someone with whom she can go to therapy later in life. I say, "Let the baby-watch begin!" Might as well. There's nothing good on TV at the moment.

I was about to make a pretentious, sarcastic comment somewhere along the lines of, "Only 7 bedrooms? What a meager, rickety hovel!" But then, I re-read the post and noticed that they were only adding these new Crazy Cruise headquarters to their collection as a little place for the summer, and I was forcefully shoved back into my place.
As for this baby business, I think it's a good idea. It probably won't be seen as a good idea in the baby's opinion, but I feel it's in Suri's best interest. Personally, I know many only children who have turned out to be a bit selfish and thus have trouble getting along with and relating to other people. Now, I know people will read this and be offended, and I want to say that I know it definitely is not the case in many instances, but it has happened enough for a correlation to be made. Anyways, my point is that I think its very possible for Suri to become a spoiled, selfish only child like other children of Hollywood, especially in her situation where the money flows like wine and adorers instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano, heehee.
But now that I think about it, I may have to retract what I've said. Though a 2nd child might help balance out a family in a normal environment, if the Cruises had another kid, it will probably have the same issues that Suri will likely have.
If somehow, by the grace of God, they come out of this without being tainted by the extreme wealth, their nutjob parents, and the tomfoolery they call Scientology, they can plot their escape together. And if they don't come out of this as sane, somewhat normal people, they'll likely be the celebrities of our kids' generation and they'll talk shit about them as we currently do about their parents.
