I saw the View this morning and could not believe Elizabeth went off like a nuclear bomb. Her little trip to the White House seems to have turned her into George Bush's newest "shock and awe" weapon. I suggest Barbara send little Lizzie (good thing she does not have an axe..)on an extended vacation. I think you're all missing the point here. The comment Rosie made ended with the rhetorical question "who are the terrorists?" That comment could not have been interpreted any other way than her implying that WE, as Americans are the terrorists. So, the point is...what the heck is EH supposed to defend? She asked her "Do you think as my friend (since September--someone tell me please what is the point of pointing out WHEN they became friends anyway,except to be bitchy) that I believe Americans are terrorists?" Well, DUH Rosie...that IS WHAT YOU SAID!!! As a friend, EH doesn't have to agree with Ro or defend the idiotic comment that she now wants to back pedal herself out of.
