Despite Elisabeth Hasselbeck's attempt to make it sound like everything's still hunky dory on "The View" immediately following her and Rosie O'Donnell's on-air cat-fight, Rosie's blog makes it sound like she's not quite as interested in keeping up appearances as her perky co-host. In an entry dated May 23rd, Rosie writes:
like it or nottomorrow kelli turns 40
i will not be at work
You know what has the potential to be totally punk rock in this situation? If Rosie called said, "Um yeah. I'm not coming in today. I burned my foot on my Foreman Grill." But, it seems that TMZ chatted with a rep for "The View," who has assured them that Rosie had already planned not to be in to work that day in order to celebrate her partner's birthday with her. Man, it sucks that she's leaving the show. Now, I'm going to have to rely on Pay-Per-View for all the really good fights.

Awesome, love "The Office" reference :-) Rosie is so crazy.

Rosie, the typical liberal...
Rants
Throws wild accusations out there
Can't back them up with REAL facts
When backed into a corner
To prove her accusations
She resorts to screaming, obnoxious behaviors, and name calling
When that isn't effective
She turns tail, cuts and runs.

Can't stand Rosie and her big ass mouth. I watched that clip from the View and it just cements my suspicions that the show is as stupid and worthless as I thought. Who wants to watch four middle aged women bitching for an hour? Gads. If I wanted to see that, I could go to my grandma's house.
That african american chick seemed to be the only normal one. Like me in the kitchen, when my three aunts get into a brawl. Get out while you can, girlfriend!!
DearestRosiemustGosie says:
Uh-huh. You completely ignored the cogent argument from Joy Behar about exactly what is wrong with Bush from a LIBERAL point of view. She's a typical liberal making a point full of facts, no wild accusations. How about you focusing on the facts and you making a meaningful argument so the country can have a dialogue, instead of just adding to the fray? (Conveniently enough, they/you are doing exactly what another liberal describes in his book, "Assault on Reason.") Sometimes we have a point if you care to listen.
RosiemustGosie says:
Oh dear number 4:
You are preaching to the choir, my dear. As I am not a BUSH fan, whatsoever. I feel the man should be impeached. However, as I am the PROUD mother of two sons, one in the USS Navy, and another in the USS Army, I am ashamed to call Rosie a fellow American, when she classifies my two sons, as terrorists...and that they were responsible in the "murder" of over 600 thousand innocent Iraqi's.
And IF I am not mistaken, this thread was regarding Rosie possibly quitting THE VIEW, not regarding Joy Behar's statements, her views or OPINIONS....Next time try to stay on topic, instead of deflecting. But then again, thats another LIBERAL, tactic.

Rosie is a loud mouthed idiot. Elizabeth was absolutely correct in telling her to "defend her own insinuations!" Rosie spouts all this B.S. with nothing to back it up! She did insinuate that our troops are terrorists! That's a fact and it's on tape. It is not Elizabeth Hasselbeck's job to defend her outrageous statements. I am so glad she is leaving the view!!! She doesn't have any redeeming qualities whatsoever. Glad to see her go.

And here is the republican tactic: Remove brain--->insert fear
Troops are doing their job, thinking they are "defending" their country but the FACT is that US went and invaded a country that had nothing, NOTHING, to do with 9/11 and are still fighting with the Iraqi's to bring "freedom" to them. How the heck does that make sense to you people is beyond me.
What if someone came and invaded Texas because they thought it wasn't free enough? Would the Texans defending themselves be terrorists or freedom fighters? The difference between freedom fighter and terrorist depends on where you stand on the issue.
Iraqi people don't want us there and yet we are still killing them, bombing them to bring the so called freedom?!? Come on people!
I am not calling the troops terrorists, I support them. They are just fighting the wrong fight right now and it's out of their hands. They are doing what they are led to believe...
Mike says:
Rosies' Terrorist rhetorical statement...........
she meant that WE think these bad people who come over here and attack us are Terrorists........what must the IRAQUI PEOPLE think of all these American Soldiers over there in THEIR country, trying to stabilize their country, but, hundreds of thousands of THEM are dead............it's all about "What the Iraqi's THINK of us.....Rosie never SAID the soldiers were terrorists..........find her transcripts online and study them

Mike and SMG!
Thanks for your intelligent posts! You hit it right on--what Rosie was misinterpreted. She is very supportive and incredibly caring of the troops. She argues passionately for sure and she says things that are hard for many Americans to hear.
I feel sorry for Rosiemustgo---you have to keep up your ignorant viewpoint because your whole world will fall apart if/when it hits you that your government risked your precious sons' lives fighting an unnecessary war.
How dare Bush say: we either fight them in Iraq or they'll fight us here!!!!
Should Israel and Iran fight it out over here to avoid fighting in their own countries?? What a pile of bull!! IRAQ HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 911.
AL QUAEDA WAS ALL BUT LOCKED OUT OF IRAQ BY SADAM. AMERICA DREW AL QUAEDA INTO IRAQ!!! Now its there and all over mid east and northern Africa. America has NO RIGHT to have other peoples die in collateral damage as they fight their war in another country. Do you Americans honestly sleep better at night knowing this?
peachpie says:
at least there is dialogue, which is more than i can say about my current personal environment. if you speak out against the 'government' then you aren't a good american or christian or parent or ___fill__in__the__blank___.
yep, rosie had/has a point. hasselback is a well paid lemming. feel sorry for those who just can't seem to bust out of their pea-brained box to examine other points of view for validity. berating them isn't necessary. it's like kicking someone while they're down.
oh wait, that's our goverment's job.....

What ever political viewpoint a person has...bottom line is Rosie's a loud mouthed, obnoxious, judgmental, narrow-minded windbag whose become way too ugly to watch.
