Michael Lohan is now teaming up with born-again Christian, Stephen Baldwin, to start a swank treatment center in Southampton, and indicates that he is doing so to help people like his daughter--you know, rich kids with substance abuse problems. The two approached controversial pastor, Donald Havrilla, of the Southampton Full Gospel Church, to ask for his help in their endeavor.
Havrilla, who holds staunch anti-abortion and anti-gay views, said he was approached by Michael Lohan and Baldwin about the plan through an intermediary. "I'm not part of the Hollywood crowd," Havrilla said. "But I talked with these guys and was pleasantly surprised."He also went on to say that just because the center's going to be swank as a mother (OK, that's me paraphrasing), that will be the only difference because the patients aren't going to be babied. Also, Lindsay's dad had something to say about his goals for the center.
Michael Lohan, who is undergoing drug treatment in a West Babylon facility, said: "We want to turn people's lives around. Rich, poor, it doesn't matter."You know, that's probably not a bad idea to try and lure her into visiting him. He should also build a bar and a spray-on tan joint as well, just to have all his bases covered.

Ya know, I like Michael Lohan. He's at least talking to the media about SOLUTIONS for his daughter and keeping things real, unlike Dina Lohan who continues to sugar coat and encourage her daughter's addictions.
Perhaps both parents are using Lindsay for their own gain, but at least the father is doing something positive. I think Dina has just brainwashed her daughter into hating him, which is unfortunate...
