I know that title made no sense, but I'm just trying to get into the poetic state of mind that has Rosie O'Donnell producing poems at about the same rate that I churn out bad jokes. O'Donnell recently penned a little something on her blog about her recent visit to the acupuncturist for treatment related to an 2001 staph infection in her left hand, but her poem indicates that she's also still feeling wounded by the circumstances that lead to her abrupt departure from "The View."
day two and it is oki had acupuncture
she put some needles
thru the scar tissue on my left hand
lifting it up - from the locked layer beneathstuck is how she described it
it hurt in a good way
one u can survive
as the promise of freedom
maybe movement
allows the ache
i breathe thru it
2 find
some open place inside
where there was none b4
Sylvia Plath over here is really quite prolific. For a final sing-song quote from Rosie, follow the jump...

Ugh says:
This story is so worn out and old. Rosie should stop while she's ahead. I don't see this helping her in any way. I think she quit the show early due to being embarassed over little Lizabeth kicking her butt and telling her she's old enough to stand up for herself. I wish Rosie would go away. She's evil, makes up stories, and doesn't belong in the US if she can't handle the truth.
Haikuforyou says:
Someone get that woman a gas oven...stat!
lb says:
Hey Rosie, skip the accupuncture and go for a lobotomy instead....you sure could use one.
Thaddeus van Worthingheimer says:
Oh God. It's not like I would expect Rosie to handle the situation in a quiet and dignified way, but even I am surprised that she's dragging it on and on and on.
Rosie, it's time to let it die. You know, like your career.
yup says:
The people who don't belong in the U.S. are the ones who don't understand we are killing hundreds of innocent people a day- the people who did NOT attack us in 911, both endagering our lives and the precious lives of our troops. The people who truly care about the troops are the ones who speak up against this injustice. Wake up people. Rosie's only trying to spread the real truth, however rednecks can't see beyond their guns.
Haikuforyou says:
Oh, that is funny. someone named YUP is criticizing rednecks...and actually, the people who don't belong in the US are the millions of Illegal Immigrants that sneak over here all the time. Oh, and maybe people who think that our Military is just for decoration. And the sad few who agree with "Ro".
MensaMember says:
Where is Rosie talking about The View?? She's talking about getting accupuncture on her immobilized hand (finger), it hurts, maybe this will help it to move again, etc. Nowhere does she mention The View, except to say "day two..." She's definitely not "wounded" about leaving that godawful show. Who wouldn't be relieved to get away from that old ladies' show?!!
sean says:
Rosie's blog is about her life. She get's about 3000 questions a day and has said she won't answer any more questions about the view for a while.
Some Guy says:
The woman needs to take a class on poetry, because her shit sucks. Free verse or no verse, she might as well just write regular sentences instead of trying to come across as witty and poetic and deep. A five year old can write better poems.

Dr BLT says:
Walters could not afford to continue to have somebody like Rosie on her show.
As I've indicated in the following blog n roll song, "Life is much too short, to fuss and fight my friend." Let's stop the fight! It's time for the left to unite with the right.
