Fishkill town police are looking for the KFEST concertgoer who on Sunday was plucked from the crowd by a security guard, directed toward headlining musician Akon and then hoisted by Akon on the singer's shoulders and hurled back into the audience.Detective. Lt. John Berlingieri of the Fishkill Police said talks have been held within the department regarding the possibility of questioning Akon about the incident, which occurred during Fishkill-based WSPK (104.7 FM)'s annual KFEST concert at Dutchess Stadium.
"We're trying to identify that kid, just to find out whether or not we have any kind of criminal offense," Berlingieri said. "We are looking to speak to him. No victim. No crime."
Gwen Stefani not only has a crap album, she had an asshole opening for her on tour. Was he booted off yet? Wasn't it bad enough that he was dry-humping underage girls? Did he throw them afterwards?

Not a fan of his music, but what exactly is being investigated here? The kid didn't file a complaint, so what's the problem? I've never heard of any investigations of rockstars for stage-diving or mosh pits.
As far as the issue with the minor, what was she doing in an adults-only concert? Dressed the way she was? If anyone is to blame, blame her parents (a pastor, if I'm not mistaken) or those running the concert. If an underage boy gets into a strip club, do we blame the stripper who gave him the lapdance or the establishment for letting him in?
Based on the pictures I saw, she didn't seem reluctant and actually seemed to enjoy it, smiling and laughing in several of the photos.

At concerts, a long, long time ago they used to have things called mosh pits. It was when the audience actually responded to the band, and they responded back. It sounds like a kid liked Akon so much that he needed to get noticed, and he did. Akon got him on stage and threw that kid into a crowd. That usually means that people catch you. Sometimes it was a little rougher, but those shows were actually fun. The people who are offended by it shouldn't go. This whole thing is ridiculous, especially people going out of their way to find the kid and make him out to be a victim. Maybe he's not. By the way, how was Akon to know that the girl in Trinidad was underage?

Being from the area, this station is not known for types of music that would be appropriate to mosh to. Also, this is more of a family and young adult music festival. Poor decision on the station management to allow someone who simulates rape with someone underage to appear. Where was the judgement call on that one?

What's to investigate? Battery - the kid was touched when he wasn't wanting to be touched. Assault - if the kid was in fear of being hurt. The state can pursue charges even if the victim doesn't make a complaint.
