Sources, including her scrub ex, are saying that Britney's dating her drug counselor . Is that a good idea? Maybe it is? If she gets the urge, she can just roll over and have him talk her through it. Maybe everyone should bang their sponsor. What the hell do I know? I can't even get over my Little Debbie addiction. Hmmm, oatmeal pies for 1.99 a box!
The 25-year-old rehabbed star insists that her relationship with John Sundahl is purely professional -- but her soon-to-be-ex-hubby insists they're dating and her mother is thrilled the two are supposedly seeing each other, according to the National Enquirer."John's smitten with Britney," a source described as "close to the new couple" told the tab. "I've never seen him act so ridiculous with a girl. He's so in love with her that he's risking his career just to keep her happy."
The source is probably Britney's coke pipe. Keep reading for more details on this Sundahl dude, who's drug counseling practice sounds kinda suspect.
Sundahl, who is 38 years old and is also a wealthy real estate developer, was recommended to Spears by someone at Promises, the rehab center where Spears stayed. At first, they met at his Beverly Hills house to discuss topics such as the twelve-step program -- but the conversation allegedly got intimate rather quickly."Britney and John ended up making out beside the pool -- and Britney acted like she didn't care who saw her," the source told the Enquirer. "She's got no shame."
Dating a patient is considered to be an ethical breach -- though it's not clear that Spears would be considered Sundahl's patient. And although he acknowledges that he helps recovering addicts at his home, he denies that he's dating Spears.
So is his help administered through his gentials? I'm confused as to what this "help" entails. AA or NA meetings usually don't take place with the addict spread-eagled beside a luxurious inground swimming pool and coated in cocoa butter and lube. Sundahl denies a relationship, but Britney's Mom Lynne is reportedly "thrilled". She's probably also thrilled when Britney doesn't diaper the baby's face or sleep with the cleaning lady.

I call bullshit! It would be against a code of conduct, and his license would be suspended or revoked. Oh, plus that getting fired and never working in this drug addled/drunsty town again.
Lots of cashola in rehab, and there is no upside of dating dimple butt.

Lisa is hilarious, "Is the help from his genitals" I am ROTFLMAO!!
hazel17 says:
His license could be suspended or revoked... assuming he is even a real CAC addictions counselor. Considering he was recommended by promises, which seems like more of a celebrity psuedo-rehab, I can't have a whole lot of faith that the guy has any legitimate credentials.
Lola says:
Provided this guy is a certifed/licensed counselor then no, ABSOLUTELY not, it is against the ACA's (American Counseling Association) code of ethics to have a sexual relationship with a client during practice and not allowed until at least 5 years following the termination of the client/therapist relationship. People, often vulnerable people, "fall for their therapists/counselors" because they feel that "someone finally understands me" and only completely unethical and disgraceful therapists would ever pursue a relationship with a client...it's just sick and gives the entire field a bad name.
Kati Miller says:
I saw the two at the Luxe Hotel and she was all over him and he was all smiles. Britney seems happy he isnt after her giving him a singing career.
Angela Francco says:
I am a friend of John Sundahls and this story is crap. He has never been a drug or alcohol counsler. He even said to the Enquirer he has no relationship with her.
Wendy Grant says:
I live in Dallas and I have done business with John Sundahl. I am guessing Britney likes fixer upers
