Jennifer Aniston and producing partner, Kristin Hahn, have purchased the rights to an article from Texas monthly, which tells the story of a group of eight female prisoners, who formed a country and western band while serving time in prison.
The women were paying their due to society while in the Goree Prison in Texas during the 1940's and their band was one of the first acts of its kind to be comprised solely of women. The Texas Monthly article, "O Sister Where Art Thou," outlined the story of the women of Goree, whose music earned them millions of fans. Ultimately, the women were each pardoned for their crimes. A director is not yet attached to the Dreamworks project, which is entitled "Goree Girls."
Plans are for it to be a period musical, as well as a possible vehicle in which Aniston plans to star. Well, this sounds like it could end up being pretty good. But seriously, if Jennifer is hunting for an Oscar, she seriously needs to gain fifty pounds for a role. The Academy LOVES the temporary fatties.

Have they named their production company yet. Last I read it was called Jennifer Aniston's and Kristin Hahn's Not Yet Named Production Company. In an interview for the Breakup, Jennifer swore that she could not caarry a tune. Are mega lessons in order or was she just being modest. It sounds good.

But Chinny only got the movie deals she got because she was riding Brad coattail, with out him she is N O T H I N G. Watch and see as her career, and she herself fads in the woodwork. I don't know about this. A musical, uh, not so much. That's a scary prospect. Jennifer was cute as Rachel, but she's a so/so actress on the whole.

looks like she is doing fine to me? she brushed that divorce off two years ago. dates hot men, makes millions of bucks, lives a happy private life.
let's see what a train wreck Angeloona is when Brad get's tired of being her baby-sitting whipping boy. maybe she'll start cutting again. there will be a "Now Serving #" display outside her bedroom. the 10+ kids she bought will all be off at "school" getting bailed out and detoxed when needed. brother james will no longer be relegated to the foot of the bed. wonder what you'll say then?
