After visiting Paris in jail, Nicky Hilton and her mother, Kathy, relayed their experiences to People magazine. Apparently, Nicky (who Kathy says never cries) had trouble keeping the tears from flowing and Nicky said the scene was "like right out of the movies." Yeah, a movie about an idiot. And then Nicky went on to talk about how she believed Paris was being treated unfairly, both in the criminal justice system and in the media.
"What's annoying is all these people are going on television saying that she was drinking and driving," said Nicky. "She's not in jail for DUI. That's a big misconception. She's in jail for driving on a suspended license, just like the D.A.'s wife was. ... She got a $186 fine."Look, we know she's in jail for the suspended license, which was suspended when she got the DUI. Either way, all this caterwauling is doing absolutely nothing to make me like the Hiltons more. I'm at the point where they could tell me that Paris invented my favorite cookie and I'd still be done with her. Can't these people just stop complaining already? She's not Nelson Mandela, for God's sake...

Nicky Hilton is just as stupid as her sister. Paris did not get sent to jail because she drove with a suspended license. Paris got sent to jail because of TWO PAROLE VIOLATIONS. If Paris had stopped driving after she was warned about driving with a suspended license the first time, then she wouldn't be in thie predicament. But no, Paris and her family believe they are above the law and find it's best to let others do their thinking for them.

Tobeylee, she didn't forget to show up to court, she was late. Very late. To show such disrespect to the courts and the judge, no wonder he explicitly said no work release and no community based sanctions.
The courts and the justice system have so much power over people that it needs to be respected to the utmost and Paris showed no respect whatsoever.

Remember back in the day when she got this DUI? There was no blood alcohol level stated. That's because she obviously refused a breathalyzer and that's why her license was suspended.
If she had blown (heh) the breathalyzer, she more than likely would've had an alcohol level WAY higher than the legal limit and could've been charged with a felony.
Any good attorney will tell you to NEVER do the breathalyzer if you know you're fucked up. You will get your license suspended, but you keep yourself from becoming a felon in the process.
So fuck her. She got what was coming to her karmically.
