Linda B - While things like this bug me as well, if you're going to be nitpicky, I will as well. Spellcheck would never catch a homynym error.
I'm sure Jessica knows the difference between "were" and "we're". We all make mistakes. Especially if our brains are going faster than our fingers can type.

If the grammar and punctuation on this site bother you so much, why not find somewhere else to go? It gets old seeing posts that have nothing to do with the article and everything to do with grammar. Tonysgirl and Diana are right, everyone makes mistakes, doesn't mean they have to be pointed out every time they happen! Save your criticism for the Hollywood types!

People..."we're" and "were" are 2 different words with 2 different meanings. She used them wrong twice in the same article..that's NOT a typo that's stupidity. Welcome to the dumbing down of America. If you write for a living and cannot spell wouldn't it be prudent to have someone edit your articles before you post them?

If you're going to have a go at people's spellings, remember: "pleaseeeeee" is pronounced "please-y"... You meant to put "pleeeeeease" which would give out the desired "pleeeeeease" sound.

I read something today that Ben and Matt are no longer friends. Seeing as their families just vacationed together in Hawaii, that certainly can't be true! I don't know why I care, but I'm very relieved to find this out. :o)
